I’ve been looking forward to Edward’s next book for some time. I really enjoyed his previous books and was very pleased when he announced Viscoid, also offering the first chapter for free.Set in the small town of Lechester. Holy cowI can't believe I made it all the way to the end. The story starts out as cheap, dime store detective magazine short and ends as a cheap direct to video horror movie. The end is so abrupt I almost almost banged my forehead on the screen of my kindleHero shoots monster, the end. Worse than the choking level of cheese, is the never-ending stream of British gutter slang which at times made the story almost impenetrable.
