The Pygmy Planet by Jack Williamson, Astounding Stories February 1932I listened to the Librovox reading and followed along in the Feedbooks epub of the story. I have to give it two stars, as one star is “I didn't like it” and the truth is, I listened along without steam flying out of my ears or having my eyes bleed. So it was “ok”.There's nothing believable about this story at all. But it's speculative fiction, so there's that. Which came first, Jules Verne, Jack Williamson, or Isaac Asi [...]

Really silly story This short story was written in 1932 and has a early sci-fi feel about it. Silly science. Monsters. Damsel in distress. Unfortunately it doesn't come together at all for me. A tale told in the first person. It is action packed science fiction adventure. The narrators voice is clear and easy to listen to. Greg Margarite is well rehearse reader of many books. The recording quality is clear (no background noise), with plenty of volume and the editing technique is spotless.

Very well written. An interesting plot, definitely worth your time.
